The Council of Legal Education, the authority that runs the Nigerian Law School, has released the results of both the Bar Final Resit examinations held in April 2015 and the Bar Final examinations for regular students conducted in May 2015.
A statement by the Director General of the Law School, Mr. Olanrewaju
Onadeko, said out of the 2,736 students who participated in the resit
examination, only 1,648 were successful. They would be called to Bar
with a pass.
However, 990 of the students were not so lucky because they again
failed. Ninety-eight of the students managed to escape with a
conditional pass.
For the May 2015 Bar Final Examinations conducted for the regular students, 2,852 took part in the examinations. Out of this, four candidates namely Fatima Bombom Sani, Genevieve Chinyeaka Mbonu, Adetutu Abisoye Olowu and Reason Emma Abajuo have a first class. They were from Abuja, Lagos and Enugu campuses respectively.
For the May 2015 Bar Final Examinations conducted for the regular students, 2,852 took part in the examinations. Also, 109 have second class upper, 418 achieved second class lower,
while 1,422 managed a pass. 83 students would be called to Bar with
conditional pass. 815 students were however unlucky, they failed the
examination and will have to retake.
The statement said the call to Bar ceremonies for the successful candidates would hold from October 20 to 22 in Abuja
