Former House of Representatives member and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abike Dabiri-Erewa has sued Diamond Bank and Punch Newspaper for unspecified damages after her name was published by the newspaper on the bank’s chronic debtor list.
The suit was filed yesterday at a Lagos High Court.
It was claimed that she owes N100m to the bank.

Dabiri-Erewa claimed she did not owe Diamond bank any money and that
didn’t she have any relationship with a company through which the
alleged debt was incurred.

Though Dabiri-Erewa claimed the bank has apologised to her in two
national dailies it is not, however, clear if she will drop the lawsuit.
Diamond bank apologizes to me in two newspapers. Agreed they erred.Well? If you were me what would you do # if I was Abike
