Arsenal v. Leicester Team News

The boss has given us a few updates on his team for Saturday’s match at the King Power. While admitting he’s short on options, he said that Özil, Giroud, and Koscielny will be “available for selection” this weekend, but also went on to say: Of course they have not played any games for a while, so I have to be selective and I cannot go for the three because that would be too risky.
But at center back, it seems likely we’ll see Kos for at least part of the game: But basically with Laurent Koscielny I have no choice! If I have to take a gamble on one, it’s certainly on him. Wenger also talked a bit about Gabriel, who is “still in a boot” and can’t really walk yet, so his timeline is kind of up in the air at the moment, and about Ramsey and Iwobi, both of whom have “minor muscular problems” that will keep them out until after the international break in early September. Wenger seemed relieved about Iwobi’s diagnosis, as it seemed worse earlier in the week, so that’s a spot of good news.
